About Charlotte
A journey from a children's home to the pulpit.
I am the first Black woman to become a reverend in the Dutch Reformed Church. I am a Hebrew lecturer at the University of Pretoria. Public speaking is one of my great passions.
Although some of my students think of me as "that lady, the one who made it", my journey has not always been easy. I choose to inspire others through my journey.
I believe that together we can build a better South Africa for all.
